Our Staff

Courtney D. Jackson, Executive Director

Courtney Jackson has worked in childcare for over 15 years. Courtney was Educated at the Kutztown University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelors in Psychology.  She is currently working towards her Master’s Degree in Child and Family Counseling at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va.  Courtney’s childcare career started at New Life Child and Family Development center where she started as a seasonal hire and worked her way up over several years to Interim Director. Courtney has worked as a personal care assistant at the Pathway school, dealing with children who are behaviorally challenged.   Courtney also works as a social worker in the Montgomery and Bucks County.  Courtney’s experience and education as an educator, supervisor, and behavioral health worker is a great asset to add to the St. Francis team.

The Archdioceses of Philadelphia Safe Environment Program makes it mandatory for any adult who has contact with the youth of our parish to have a criminal background check, child abuse clearance and attend the safe environment training class, “Protecting God’s Children.”  This applies to ALL employees, volunteers as well as every member of any organization which uses parish facilities and/or carries the parish name.  These regulations are in place for the safety of our children.

 

The Archdioceses of Philadelphia Safe Environment Program makes it mandatory for any adult – Director, Assistant Director, Teachers, Support Staff, and Volunteers – who has contact with the youth of our parish to have the following:

 

  1. FBI Fingerprint Clearances – updated every 5 years

  2. PA State Police Clearances – updated every 5 years

  3. PA Child Abuse History Clearances – updated every 5 years

  4. Proof of attending the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Safe Environment Training Class “Protecting God’s Children”

My name is Rachel Golston. I wanted to extend a warm welcome to you and your child. I am a teacher here at St. Francis E.L.C as well as the Academic Director. I have been working in child care for the last 8 years. In that time, I was a Pre-K teacher and an assistant director for a local child care center. I hold a C.D.A in infants/toddlers. I obtained an Associate’s degree in Education at Ashford University, and am

currently working towards completing a Bachelor’s Degree in education at the same University. My Philosophy for teaching is, Children learn through play and each one of them learn at their own pace. Thank you for trusting me to care for your child.
